-Compromised Starboard Fuel Tank - NEEDS REPLACEMENT. Tank has hole - leak due to corrosion (common issue with 1980's Taiwanese trawlers) and leak is low enough where the tank must remain empty. Please note boatyard does NOT have capability - labor to do fuel tank replacement. Tank is empty.
-Port Fuel Tank has corrosions - hole on top side of tank, on tank's inspection port (a bolted down plate), this caused tank to fail pressure test. Engine however can still run for sea trial - mechanical survey.
-Teak Decks, forward and sides decks, were painted over with 2-part epoxy grey paint as a preventative attempt to seal the decks. Can be left as is, or removed and teak decks restored.
-Canvas - Isinglass enclosure needs replacement, still aboard for patterning. Stainless steel frame solid. Enclosure was added circa 2004.

| Selling my outerlimits 42gtx. my loss will be Someones gain. This boat has been cared for with an open checkbook and has had over 150k in upgrades in the last 2 years. This includes 2 brand new engine built by Jack boyd from boyd motor works the engines have less then 15 hours and have the best of everything. They make 1250hp and are built very conservative. Along with brand new engines the drives have been sent out and rebuilt and re geared. Currently running a 1:50 gear ratio with a brand new set of herring 17x37x18 props the boat cruises at 90mph at 4K rpm and has seen 135mph with more to go. not only has the mechanical parts of this boat been replaced. The boat went through a full re-fit in 2019 this included brand new Alcantara interior,sea deck and stereo. New in 2024 is the custom garmin dash that displays all engine management and gauges the entire dash is wired using a nema 2000 backbone this allows all your engine data and stereo equipment to be controlled by a simple screen. Along with the many upgrades to the boat itself it comes on a beautiful myco tandem dually trailer has two cargo boxes an electric winch and hydraulic jack. I have personally owned this boat for 4 years and can answer any questions you have. | This is a classic Sea Bright Skiff style boat which runs beautifully, both at low wake speeds (at which many modern boats do poorly). This boat will delight anybody who meets it at the dock, sees it on the water, or gets a ride in it.
Zobel's Sea Skiff and Yacht Works was incorporated in Sea Bright in the 1940s and were a well respected boatbuilder. They joined other wooden boatbuilders along the North Jersey Shore, including Olsens, Hans Pedersen, and others.
It is a simple boat that allows inspection of every structural detail and also makes it very inexpensive to maintain the systems as compared to a fiberglass boat. She has spent the last decade in saltwater, being used for a few trips every season.
Over $50,000 has been invested in this boat over the last 20 years. Extensive renovation was completed between 2005 to present by Gannon and Benjamin, Martha's Vineyard and Two River Boat Works, Fair Haven, NJ, and a second round of renovations too place in the 2010s and early 2020s. The renovations and features include:
Replacement of the bow - stem and ribs, planking, transom, windshield, console, seats, deck, etc.
